Biography:

Coach Brengosz is in his 14th year in the Warhawks organization. 2024 will be his 8th year as head coach.

During his first two years as the varsity head coach the Warhawks won the Wisconsin Little Ten & Classic 8 Conference titles and advanced to the state tournament in Appleton both seasons, capturing the Division 1 State Runner-Up in 2018. The Warhawks captured back-to-back-to-back conference titles in 2021, 2022 & 2023 with the 2022 team earning a trip to the state tournament. The 2023 title saw Coach Brengosz capture his 3rd straight Classic 8 Coach of the Year honor.

He has previously coached junior varsity in 2009 & 2010 and again from 2013-2015. In 2016 he was the varsity assistant for the Division 1 State Runner-Up team.

He is a 2007 Arrowhead graduate and attended UW-La Crosse. Coach Brengosz had also been a defensive backs coach for the football team from 2012-2017.

He is a member of our mathematics and computer science departments.

Biography:

Coach Pier will be entering his 3rd year in the Warhawks organization. He previously coached at Kettle Moraine. He will work with our hitters at the varsity levels. Coach Pier loves to develop hitters and work with athletes of all ages towards improvement. During his first season with the Warhawks, 8 of the 9 starters had batting averages above 0.300.

In 2023, Coach Pier was named the Classic 8 Assistant Coach of the Year.

Position: Mental Skills Coach & Assistant Coach

Biography:

Coach Bechtel is in his 10th year in the Warhawks organization. He will be joining the varsity staff for the first time in 2024. He had been the coach of the Freshmen Red team the previous nine years. Coach Bechtel's team finished 10-4 during the 2023 season. Coach Bechtel also took on some of our baseball leadership duties in 2023. He is a 2004 Arrowhead graduate and attended UW-Oshkosh. Coach Bechtel has previously coached football from 2010-2015 and worked with the running backs and quarterbacks. He is a member of our special education department.

Biography:

Coach Karvala is in his 2nd year in the Warhawks organization. He was also a member of the Arrowhead baseball staff in 2022, when the Warhawks made an appearance in the WIAA State Tournament.

Biography:

As the Arrowhead varsity baseball coach from 1975 until 2009, Coach O’Driscoll’s record was 742-328. For 35 years, his teams never had a losing season. Coach O’Driscoll also coached football for 23 years and basketball for 11 years. He also was the announcer for 20 years for the girls and boys basketball home games. Coach O'Driscoll has handled pitching duties for multiple levels of the program since he rejoined the program. He is also notably the official scorer for the Milwaukee Brewers. Coach O'D rejoined the staff following Coach Brengosz's hire in 2017.

Biography:

Coach Rathkamp is in his 7th year in the Warhawks organization. Coach Rathkamp spent his first two seasons working with the freshmen baseball players. He made the jump to JV in the 2020 season. His team went 12-7-1 during his first season in 2021. His 2022 squad finished with a 17-3 record. The 2023 JV team finished with a record of 14-5-2. Coach Rathkamp previously worked as a DL/LB coach with the football team.

Biography:

Coach Loper is entering his 3rd year in the Warhawks organization at the JV level. He was part of 2022 JV team that had a 17-3 record and the 2023 team that went 14-5-2. Coach Loper previously was the head freshman coach at Kettle Moraine, head coach for Team Wisconsin for 4 years and assistant coach for various national all-star teams and travel ball teams. Coach Loper is a 1990 graduate of Arrowhead where he played football, basketball and baseball from sophomore year on. He was an all-conference, all-area and all-state selection in all 3 sports as well as captain in all 3 sports his senior year. Coach Loper is passionate about developing players to help achieve and realize their potential goals.

Biography:

Coach Skaros is in his 5th year in the Warhawks organization. This will be his third season with the Freshmen White team. His 2023 team finished the season with a 13-1-2 record. Coach Skaros spent his first year with the varsity program in 2019 and had been a football coach at Arrowhead from 2014 until 2019. He oversaw the defensive backs on two teams that enjoyed state runs. Coach Skaros enjoyed playing football, track and baseball at Wauwatosa West before continuing on to Madison for college. He is a member of our social studies department.

Coach Hauser is in his 1st year in the Warhawks organization. He is a member of our social studies department.
